Compact filter cells, active carbon filters
Compact filters are generally preferred in high performance ventilation systems as medium or fine filters to remove fine dust and smaller particles.
Compact filters provide clean and conditioned air for office buildings, factory halls, airports, libraries, museums, laboratories, hospitals and health care institutions, as well as numerous other areas.
Compact filters can be used in most general climate control appliances. They perform well even under extreme conditions, whether coping with high flow speeds, changes in flow direction or high humidity. Compact filters are stable and allow flow in both directions: in contrast to pocket filters, they can be freely installed in any orientation.
The configuration of compact filters makes them easy to use and simple to install and maintain. The densely folded filter material is glued to the plastic frame in order to preclude bypass. Compact filters can be incinerated without emission of hazardous chlorine gas, so disposal in waste incinerators is permitted.
Thanks to the densely folded filter material housed in a rigid frame, compact filters have many times the surface area of pocket filters. The V shape also ensures optimal airflow properties, enabling the pressure difference to remain low even with large volumes of air. They can be made in various configurations (3V, 4V, and 5V), depending on air volume requirements. Compact filters are small, have long lifespans, possess high dust retention capacities, and not least they can withstand high pressures (3,500 Pa).
Compact filter frames are almost always of plastic, the filter medium being micro glass fibre paper, tear-resistant synthetic filter fabric or mini-pleat. The frame can also be made of galvanised metal for use in special conditions, and this filter type is also available with active carbon.
